An Account of the Bringings Forth of Adam – Genesis 5:1-6:8

In this, the fourth in the series based upon the ancient triennial readings from the Torah of Moses, Ross covers material found in Genesis 5:1-6:8. The focus of the teaching is on the line of Seth, a line which Ross seeks to show is introduced by a “beginning of calling on the Name.” Ross shows that within the unfolding narrative, two distinct groups emerge and that it is through the line of Seth, one in the image and likeness of his father, that the good purposes of the Creator can finally be realized. He shows further that in contrast to the line of Cain, we meet two men who “walked with the Elohim.” While the conduct of mankind in general reaches its lowest point, there are those who seek to walk with God. These are descendants of Seth – and this is an account of the bringings forth of Adam.
